Determined to discover never before seen swing speeds and exit velocities, Lousiville Slugger sought out player feedback and state-of-the-art computer simulations to map out what they were looking for in the Atlas!
Their findings resulted in a first-of-its-kind one-piece alloy design that optimizes the wall thickness of the EVOKE Alloy along the entire length of the barrel. Slugger's redesigned SPD-Gen2 End Cap is implemented at the end of the barrel to generate even higher swing speeds without sacrificing power. Additionally, this Atlas -12 USA Bat will be equipped with Louisville Slugger's Pro Comfort Grip for extra tack and cushion!
It's important to note that this model is designed and approved for USA Baseball play. Available from 26" to 31", this Atlas will feature a -12 length-to-weight ratio, a 2 5/8" barrel diameter, and a balanced swing weight.
Warranty
Louisville Slugger backs this bat with a one-year warranty against defects and some damages that may occur from routine on-field play. Those damages include broken knobs and cabs, structural damages and severe dents. Louisville may offer a one-time repair or replacement on bats that qualify under this warranty.
